Forgot to mention a few more things, I already have a VPN setup on my home network (wireguard portforwarded and setup) and it has been working fine for a couple of years.
The main point of the pi in my eyes was for having the devices which are heavily locked down such as the games console to have the VPN software (there is no native way to run a VPN on the console), I need the VPN for the some of my services like a pihole, which is nice to have on the games console for getting rid of the bloat it otherwise gives you.
Any idea on how to set up a network such as the one below?
