Other RP2040 boards • Re: RP2040 with ESP8285 on board

Device does not appear with a com port after flashing the RP2040 part with serial_port_transmission.uf2. The device changes from ControlPanel
> Other devices > RP2040 Boot to a ControlPanel > Other devices > TinyUSB CDC but there is no port associated with it.

I then unplug it, hold the button closest to the ESP8285 and plug it back in. Keeping the button pressed, it appears as the same TinyUSB CDC device, with an associated bing-bong. Nothing else happens when I release the button.

I clearly can't indicate the port to use in the flash tool, and so I'm stuck at the moment. I'm unfamiliar with TinyUSB CDC devices, and have scouted around but don't find any reference to a port. In control panel, it says the TinyUSB device doesn't have an installed driver

I have checked the board internal voltage, and it is 3.3v. I measure 1.9v on GPI0, and the button press brings voltage to 0v. The button does connect to pin15 on the ESP8285, and seems to correspond to the circuit diagram. So the button is wired and connected correctly.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?
