Use the SD card formatting tool from the SD association to revert to a default FAT/exFAT partition spanning the card.

If you use Raspberry Pi Imager, it'll install Raspberry Pi OS and set partitions up accordingly (which will include a 512MB FAT + nGB ext4 partition).

Does the RPi OS offer different choice of File System? May be some are general purpose (likely we starting now with this initially), some ?? may be more reliable against sudden power loss. May be more redundent data, SLOWER, on the file system to help recoverage 'chance'? Does it recover well on sudden power loss at home (with normal frequency of unexpected power loss) so that it can run reasonably well 24/7 without UPS. OR it does not warrant the risk and better get a two 16500 Li cell UPS lasting a few minutes to do proper shutdown (no need to run on power out, just shutdown).
