- System Environment: The Raspberry Pi is running Debian.
- Session Type: `$XDG_SESSION_TYPE` returns `tty`, which suggests that I am not in a Wayland session.
- Wayland Socket: Trying to locate the Wayland socket with `ls -l /run/user/1000/wayland-0` returned "No such file or directory".

The prerequisites in the documentation are -
Raspberry Pi Connect needs your Raspberry Pi to be running a 64-bit distribution of Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm that uses the Wayland window server. This in turn means that, for now, you’ll need a Raspberry Pi 5, Raspberry Pi 4, or Raspberry Pi 400.

Does your unspecified RPi board and 'Debian' OS meet that requirement?

Thank you for the help. It seems that I don't have a Wayland window server installed on my Pi-5.
